Eight Dollar Mountain Botanical Area

This mountain is a unique conical shaped mountain on the western side of the Illinois Valley.

Turn west off Highway 199 between Selma and Kerby on a road marked Kalmiopsis Wilderness area. From this road you can get a gorgeous view of the Illinois River.

There is also river access here.
