Deschutes County Historical Society

Housed in the Historic Reid School and built in 1914 of pink volcanic tuff, this museum offers three floors of Central Oregon's pioneer past. Exhibits: pioneer, logging, wagon roads, irrigation, education, technology, Native American, and special.

The Deschutes Historical Center presents their annual old-fashioned ICE CREAM SOCIAL at the Museum from Noon to 4:00 pm under the shade trees at 129 NW Idaho Street in downtown Bend. Free admission to the museum all afternoon.
