Established is 1979 by Fred and Mary Benoit, this spectacular hilltop winery offers a panoramic view of Yamhill County. The French-style Chateau can be rented for special events. Chateau Benoit features succulent Muller-Thurgau, crisp Sauvignon blanc, barrel fermented Chardonnay, rich Pinot Noirs and a dry Riesling. Several other limited-production wines are available only at the winery or the coastal Wine & Food Center, including Pinot gris, dry Gewurtraminer, Sweet Marie (dessert wine), Nouveau and Brut sparkling wine.
