Camping opportunities abound in Oregon. The largest system of public campgrounds is operated by Oregon State Parks. Reservations at many of these campgrounds should be made through Reservations Northwest. Many other public campgrounds are maintained by U.S.D.A. Forest Service - Oregon and Bureau of Land Management (BLM) as well as many county parks.
Private campgrounds are found in many areas, with ambiance ranging from quiet and bucolic to almost downtown.
