Bridge Creek Wilderness |
The Bridge Creek Wilderness is located in the Ochoco National Forest and is accessed 37 miles east of Prineville via Hwy 26. The 5,380 acre wilderness includes 5.8 miles of streams and 3.5 miles of hiking trails. Bridge Creek is the domestic water source for the community of Mitchell. Unusual species such as the pileated woodpecker, goshawk, and prairie falcon nest within the wilderness.
