Big Springs & Maxwell Butte Sno-Parks On the Mt. Jefferson Loop. A part of the Oregon Cascades Birding Trail.

Big Springs & Maxwell Butte Sno-Parks are in the Willamette National Forest, in the Santiam Pass area. Big Springs is 3 miles west of Santiam Junction on ORE HWY-22 in the Willamette National Forest and Maxwell Butte is 3.5 miles west of Santiam Junction on ORE HWY-22 in the Willamette National Forest. Contact either Sweet Home Ranger District or the Detroit Ranger District for more information.

For Birders, watch for typical cascades conifer foresat species like Black-backed and Three-toed Woodpecker.
