Baskett Slough National Wildlife Refuge

This refuge features a variety of migratory waterfowl. By mid-November, large numbers of Canada geese, tundra swans, ducks and white swans are present. Hunting is permitted. Public access is limited between November 1 and April 15.

From Rickreall (6 miles west of Salem), go west on Highway 22. The refuge is about 2 miles ahead on the right.
