River Cafe's lunch menu includes smoked salmon terrine, daily soup special, hot smoked sturgeon salad, lobster, crab and shrimp, rare seared tuna, caviar service, chocolate panna cotta, and warm huckleberry beignets. The dinner menu contains Taylor bay scallop ceviche, terrine of foie gras, warm pear salad, roasted hen breast, venison loin, chocolate marquise brooklyn bridge, and caramelized apple tatin. House smoked salmon terrine, roasted pear salad, iced atlantic fishers island oysters, maine sea scallops, poached eggs Benedict, and black plum frangipane tart are served for brunch.
The River Café is the recipient of numerous awards including selection as one of the five best restaurants in New York by the French culinary guide Gault Millau.
