Taughannock Falls State Park

Taughannock Falls is part of the Finger Lakes Region in Taughannock State Park located between Trumansburg and Ithaca. The falls cataract has an incredible drop of 215 feet, one of the highest east of the Rockies. The park features hiking and nature trails, tent and trailer sites, cabins, picnic areas, beach swimming, fishing, playground areas, a marina, ice-skating, sledding, cross-country skiing and an annual concert series. Area attractions include: Buttermilk Falls, Treman State Park, Cornell University, Watkins Glen, the Finger Lakes, Corning Glass Museum, Ithaca College and over 50 local wineries.
