Knickerbockers Chapter organizes hikes throughout the year, quarterly programs and regular excursions into the New York State Forest Preserve -- the Adirondacks and the Catskills. On weekends and holidays, you can explore the 1,200 miles of trails in nearby state, county and local parks, in private preserves, or on the Long Path and Appalachian Trail, as well as bagging peaks in the mountains.
