Colgate Rochester Divinity School |
Colgate Rochester Divinity School is the result of the coming together of two Baptist seminaries in 1928-Colgate Theological Seminary which had its beginnings in Hamilton, New York, in 1817, and Rochester Theological Seminary, founded in 1850. It offers three degree programs, each with its own distinctive scope and purpose. The Master of Divinity degree, Doctor of Ministry degree, and the Master of Arts degree are the degree programs. Its signature programs are the program of black church studies, the program for education and action for responsible leadership, and the study of women and gender in church and society.
