Bird and Bottle Inn |
A famed landmark on the Old Albany-New York Post Road since 1761, Bird and Bottle Inn continues to welcome travelers with traditional Hudson Valley hospitality. Accommodations include four rooms, three on the second floor of the main building and one in an adjacent cottage. All are furnished with a canopy or four-poster bed, private bath, working fireplace, central heating and air-conditioning. There are no telephones or TV's in the rooms. There is a convenient clock-radio and all bathrooms have a tub and shower and hair dryer. Attractions include Fahnstock State Park, Hudson Highlands State Park, Philipsburg Manor, Vanderbilt Mansion, Highland Country Club, Arts and House Museum, Desmond Fish Library, and Union Church of Pocantico Hills.
