Old Fort House Museum |
The museum of Fort Edward was an 18th century military center, a 19th century canal town and a major American stoneware producer. It includes six historic buildings. The centerpiece consists of "The Old Fort House";1772 tavern and county courthouse, Revolutionary headquarters for British General Burgoyne, and later hosted the victorious Washington. Open June through October and December. Handicapped Accessible.
