Ogdensburg is located in St. Lawrence County on the St. Lawrence River at the Canadian border between Morristown and Red Mills along Highway 37 in the Northern Region of the state.
Named after Col. Samuel Ogden a landholder Ogdensburg was established as a fort and fur-trading post.
