New York Aquarium

The New York Aquarium is the Wildlife Conservation Society's home for marine life and center for aquatic science and conservation research. Major exhibit areas include Sea Cliffs, a 300 foot-long recreation of the rocky Pacific coast, and Explore the Shore, where you can touch sea stars and experience the energy of a 400-gallon wave crashing on a rocky coast while you stand dry underneath.
