Mount Kisco New York

Mount Kisco is located in Westchester County 15 miles north of White Plains near the Hudson River in the Southern Region of the state. Mount Kisco is part of the New York, New York metro area.

Tradition says the name derives from Algonquian for "edge of creekland" or "muddy place" and it was founded by Quakers in the 17th century. It was the filming location for 1987 movie, "Fatal Attraction" and 1981 movie, "Ragtime" and 1997 movie, "In & Out".
