Its masterworks include Vincent van Gogh's The Starry Night, Claude Monet's Water Lilies, Pablo Picasso's Les Demoiselles d'Avignon, Paul Czanne's The Bather, Henri Matisse's Dance as well as art from Egypt, Greece and Rome; the Near East; Europe and the Orient - arms and armor; instruments; arts from Africa, Oceania and the Americas; 20th century art; ancient glass; and decorative arts.
The Cantor Roof Garden overlooks Central Park and features many modern sculptures, one by Rodin.
