Saratoga Care has its roots in two organizations with proud traditions of serving Saratoga County. As separate entities, Saratoga Hospital and Nursing Home and Benedict Community Health Center provided distinct, often complementary services to address specific medical needs. Now, as affiliates in Saratoga Care, they take a broader approach, offering a complete range of services to help ensure the continued health of their community.
Saratoga Hospital was founded in 1891 by a group of women determined to meet their neighbors' need for medical care. In the more than 100 years since then, the once 20-bed facility has continually expanded to keep pace with their changing community. Today, Saratoga Hospital has more than 160 physicians on staff and provides care in virtually every medical specialty. Outpatient care is provided at both the Hospital and Wilton Medical Arts, home to some of the most advanced diagnostic equipment in the region.
