Long Island Jewish Medical Center shares the title of clinical and academic hub of the North Shore Long Island Jewish Health System. It is an 829 bed voluntary, non-profit tertiary care teaching hospital serving the greater metropolitan New York City area, Queens and Long Island. The 48 acre campus is located in New Hyde Park, 15 miles east of Manhattan on the border of Queens and Nassau Counties.
