City Hospital Center At Elmhurst

Elmhurst Hospital Center (EHC) serves an area of approximately one million people in one of New York City's most ethnically diverse communities. EHC recently completed a $250 million major modernization, replete with private and semi-private rooms, spacious patient and visitor lounges and private consultation rooms. A modern 513-bed facility, EHC is a Level I Trauma Center, 911 Receiving Hospital and Emergency Heart Care Station. Elmhurst is a regional referral center for trauma services, cardiac catheterization, renal dialysis, neurosurgery, psychiatric services and rehabilitative medicine. Innovative medical services include radiation oncology and lithotripsy.
