Capital Repertory Theatre opened in 1960, proud to be one of seventy-five professional theatres in LORT, the League of Resident Theatres. It provides thousands of artists with a support system for developing new work and reviving classics and perennial favorites. Hundreds of thousands of people have the opportunity to experience the highest caliber of performance right in their own communities. They have educational programs, special events, and of course, talented casts, design teams, crews and administrative staff.
