Hunter New York

Hunter is located in Greene County between Palenville and Lexington on Highway 23A near Tannersville in the Southern Region of the state.

It was named after John Hunter a landowner and was once a terminus of the Stony Clove Branch of the Ulster & Delaware Railroad.
