Hammondsport New York |
Hammondsport is located in Steuben County 26 miles NW of Corning on the south end of Keuka Lake and in the Western Region of the state. The Keuka Lake community of Hammondsport is the center of the state's grape and wine industry as well as the home of aviation pioneer Glenn H. Curtiss. It was named after Lazarus Hammond, founder.
