Fenimore Art Museum |
The Fenimore, built in the Georgian style, has renowned collections of fine, folk, decorative, and American Indian art that reflect the character of life in 18th- and 19th-century America. The fine-art collection contains excellent examples of American landscape, history, and genre painting of the Hudson River School. Also: James Fenimore Cooper memorabilia, historic photographs, and the Thaw Collection of American Indian Art. Food.
