The DCHA preserves the history of Delaware County and restores historic structures such as the seven on the grounds: the 1790s Frisbee House, a schoolhouse, a blacksmith shop, a gun shop, a timber-framed barn and an exhibit about farming. There are also revolving art and history exhibits and a picnic area.
Open most days in season. Library open two days a week the year round.

In the early 1960s, the Association purchased property, originally settled by Gideon Frisbee.
