The DCHA preserves the history of Delaware County and restores historic structures such as the seven on the grounds: the 1790s Frisbee House, a schoolhouse, a blacksmith shop, a gun shop, a timber-framed barn and an exhibit about farming. There are also revolving art and history exhibits and a picnic area.
Open most days in season. Library open two days a week the year round.

In the early 1960s, the Association purchased property, originally settled by Gideon Frisbee. Today, DCHA has over 600 members and presents the history and folklife of this county through the site's historic buildings, exhibits, programs and publications.
