Cuba is located in Allegany County 13 miles NE of Olean between Black Creek and W Clarksville along Highway 305 near the Cuba Reservoir State Park. It is in the Western Region of the state.
Site of the Seneca Oil Spring, which was shown by Seneca Indians to Franciscan missionary Joseph DeLa Roch D'Allion in 1627. This was the first written record of petroleum in North America.
