Founded in 1865 as a land-grant institution, this university offers privately supported undergraduate divisions including the College of Architecture, Art, and Planning. The 745 acre campus is in a rural area 60 miles south of Syracuse. Including residence halls, there are 761 buildings.
Fraternities, sororities and over 400 clubs and organizations are on campus. Campus tours are available through the admissions office.
