Historical Society Museum Complex

The society is charged with preserving local history by operating a live historic site with a collection of restored and furnished early 19th century structures in living museum format including the Patterson Inn, a refurbished 1796 inn with 19th ce ntury furniture, the Browntown Schoolhouse, the 1860s' Star Barn, a blacksmith shop and a 1784 log cabin.
