Briarcliff Manor New York

Briarcliff Manor is located in Westchester County and is part of the New York, New York metropolitan area. It is in the Southern Region of the state.

New York City businessman Walter Law bought land here in the 1890s, calling it "Briarcliff Farms." His friend, industrialist Andrew Carnegie, dubbed him "Laird of Briarcliff Manor" and the name stuck.
