Railroad Avenue Historic District

Atchison-Topeka Railroad...

As the name indicates, this district represents the boomtown-era that began July 4 1879, when the Atchison-Topeka Railroad made its way to Las Vegas. The district boasts a number of historically significant structures including the Castaneda Hotel. Visitors will find Railroad Avenue Historic District one block east of Grand Avenue.
