Miners' Colfax Medical center is a state-owned and licensed facility. It operates an acute care hospital, 200 Hospital Dr, Raton, NM which is licensed for 33 beds. It consists of a medical-surgical unit, an Intensive Care Unit, an Obstetrics Unit, 2 Operating Rooms, and a 24 hour Emergency Room service. Outpatient diagnostics and specialty care clinics are also available.

Miners' Colfax Medical Center serves a regional population of about 12,000. MCMC employs approximately 190 employees. It is a 24 hour service agency. There are currently three family practice physicians, two nurse practitioners, one general surgeon, one OB/GYN, three internists, one radiologist, one pathologist, one nurse anesthetist, and one ophthalmologist who are credentialed to practice at the hospital.
