Wreckers' Museum/Oldest House

Said to be the oldest house in south Florida. The construction of the 1829 house includes horizontal wall boards, a ship's hatch in the roof, and the 'landlubber's tilt' in the office. Furnished with American antiques, the house contains maritime documents, ship models, undersea artifacts and displays about the history of 19th-century ship wrecking. The garden has a separate cookhouse and an exhibit pavilion. Open daily, 10am-4pm/
