The University of Florida is the largest university in the state, enrolling more than 28,000 full-time undergraduates as well as more than 9000 graduate students. Students mostly come from Florida but all 50 states are represented. Admission is highly competitive, with not much more than half of applicants accepted. The school's interscholastic sports teams compete at the NCAA Division I level. Popular majors include psychology, finance, and English.
