Art Museum at Florida International

The Art Museum (TAM) collects works of art emphasizing the influence of Latin American culture and 20th century art on the people of the southern United States. TAM, located on the campus of Florida International University, shows six to eight exhibits each year. The exhibits most often "explore traditional themes from a contemporary perspective." Borrowed exhibitions add to the beauty of the permanent art in collection. Student exhibits are widely encouraged, and foretell the future of art and reveal the museum's influences, as well as the culture in which they are creating their masterpieces.
