Located 2.5 miles west of West Palm Beach, Palm Beach International Airport has a commercial history that dates back to 1937, when it was known as Morrison Field. In that year, the inaugural commercial flight was made by Eastern Airlines, using a DC-2 for a trip to New York.
Palm Beach International Airport has 1100 short-term parking spaces and 2300 long term spaces at ground level. Its customs and immigration facility is capable of handling up to 300 passengers per hour.
