Naples Florida

Naples is located in Collier County off of US Hwy 41 south of Fort Myers and west of Golden Gate near the Gulf of Mexico.

There is also a Naples, Maine.

Naples is part of the Naples, Florida metro area.

Naples was discovered shortly after the Civil War by Confederate General John S. Williams and Walter N. Haldeman, publisher of the Louisville Journal. The area gained a stellar reputation as a seaside retreat.

Today nature lovers can enjoy the city's lush amenities and explore many natural treasures. Anglers flock to Naples to slay the bounty of the seas. Watersports enthusiasts find all kinds of exciting action along the coastline. Boutiques and galleries line Fifth Avenue. Just a few blocks away, Third Street and the Avenues district is another fun shopping district.
