Museum of Science and History

A Civil War collection is among the museum's permanent displays, which also explores the ecology of the St Johns River and pre-Columbian Indian cultures. Hands-on exhibits encourage interaction between parents and children. Physical science shows are held in the science theater and multimedia shows are presented in Alexander Brest Planetarium. Open Monday-Friday, 10am-5pm; Saturday, 10am-6pm; Sunday, 1-6pm. Closed New Year's Day, Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
