Museum of Art - Fort Lauderdale

The worlds largest collection of art by impressionist William Glackens is now on display in its newly renovated permanent home at the Museum of Art, Fort Lauderdale. Completed in 1986, the museum's current 63,800-sq-ft facility is the second-largest exhibition space in Florida, attracting national and international attention for its monumental exhibitions.

The Museum's permanent rotating collection of 20th-century European and American art includes impressive works by Calder, Dali, Picasso, and Warhol; also an extensive collection of art from the CoBrA movement and important African, South Pacific and Contemporary Cuban art. Group and docent guided tours available.

Renovations to the Miriam and Bernard Peck Sculpture Terrace are complete, and the beautiful outdoor terrace overlooking downtown Fort Lauderdale is open to the public. Traveling exhibitions and special events are featured throughout the year, call for current schedule. Museum closed Mondays and major holidays.
