Westchester General Hospital |
Westchester General Hospital is a 100-bed acute care facility equipped with EEG, X-Ray, nuclear medicine, pharmacy, laboratory, heart station and special cardiac procedures, CAT scan, endoscopy unit, and pediatric services. Additional training resources include Southern Winds Hospital, a 60-bed psychiatric hospital, West Gables Rehabilitation Hospital , and outpatient Westchester Health Center. In addition to the Family Medicine residency, Westchester General Hospital is approved to train 20 third-year and fourth year NSU-COM students.
Westchester General Hospital is a member of the Consortium For Excellence in Medical Education (CEME) in affiliation with Nova Southeastern University - College of Osteopathic Medicine - Department of Graduate Medical Education.
