Flagler Hospital West |
A mall concept for health, the 75-acre Health Park has grown from its original 195,000 square feet of medical space in 1989 to more than 440,000 square feet today. Inside these buildings, which make up the East Health Park, can be found an enlarged 14,000 sq. ft. Emergency Room, expanded Birth Unit, Pediatrics Unit, and a center solely for women's health care. Highlights of the new Patient Tower include larger and more sumptuously decorated patient rooms with appointments that add to the comfort of the patient.
An Oncology Center encompassing over 13,000 square feet has been added to the health park, as well as an additional Intensive Care Unit which supplements the hospital's critical care needs. In the new Patient Tower, a greatly enlarged Imaging Center and Heart & Lung Center compliment the proud tradition of quality and caring health care for which Flagler Hospital is known.
