North Broward Medical Center (NBMC) is a comprehensive, 409 bed healthcare facility conveniently located at I-95 and Sample Road in Broward County. More than 650 physicians and 1500 employees contribute to the high quality of patient care provided at the tax-assisted medical center.
The hospital is an Adult Level II Trauma Center and Emergency Department is open around the clock to serve residents of Broward and Southern Palm Beach County. In addition to treating everything from minor injuries, the department is now a designated Chest Pain Center where rapid assessment of chest pain is focused on saving lives and reducing damage to the heart. More than 50,000 people are treated in our ED each year, and they receive approximately 650 trauma patients annually.
