Marianna is located in Jackson County west of Tallahassee between Tallagassee and Bonifay along US Highway 231 on the banks of the Chipola River near the Alabama/Georgia state lines.
There is also a Marianna, Arkansas.
Marianna is home to the Florida Caverns State Park, which has the only walk-through caves in the state.
