Indian Temple Mound Museum and Park |
Visitors can view Native American artifacts found within a 40-mile radius of the downtown Fort Walton Beach area at this National Historic Landmark site. The museum features exhibits relating the history of local tribes that occupied the site as long as 10,000 years ago. A preserved temple mound, once used for political and religious ceremonies, is located just outside the museum.
