Hallandale Beach Florida

Hallandale Beach is located in Broward County just north of Miami between Miami Beach and Fort Lauderdale next to Hollywood along Highway 1 near Biscayne Bay and the Atlantic seacoast.

Hallandale officially became a town on May 14, 1927. In 1947, Hallandale was reincorporated as a city, and was allowed to annex land to the east. In August of 1999, the city officially changed its name to Hallandale Beach

Visitors and residents can enjoy beautiful beaches and comfortable hotels. Two of South Florida premiere race tracks are located in Hallandale Beach. Gulfstream Park, is home to world-class thoroughbred horse racing , and the Hollywood Greyhound Track, which features dog racing action six months a year. Hallandale Beach offers a wide choice of sporting activities year round including tennis, golf, swimming, boating, and salt water fishing. The nightlife offers a choice of fine or casual dining and club entertainment for all ages from ballroom dancing to rock'n roll.
