The Graves Museum features permanent and changing exhibits such as the Paleontology Hall, pre-Columbian and Egyption galleries, and a Maritime Exhibit and Reef Classroom; other displays include an extensive trove of minerals, and artifacts of early Florida historical interest.
Specimen highlights include a rare double-terminated quartz crystal weighing more than 3.5 tons and bones of various reptiles and primates. Museum store offers unique and educational gift items. Open Tuesday-Sunday, closed Mondays. Located 2 miles south of the Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport on US Hwy 1.
