Flamingo Gardens |
Contains trees indigenous to subtropical forests throughout the world. A 1.5 acre free-flight aviary features a large collection of wading birds. Other features include a wetlands area, a Flamingo Island habitat, a crocodile lagoon, a tropical plant house and a 1.5 mile narrated tram ride through hammocks, wetlands and citrus groves. Open daily 9:30am-5:30pm, November-June; Tuesday-Sunday, 9:30am-5:30am, the rest of the year. Last tram ride leaves 1 hour before closing.
