Everglades National Park

Everglades National Park is the largest remaining subtropical wilderness in the nation and averages 1 million visitors each year. It shelters a huge variety of plants & animals, some of which are threatened or endangered. The park contains more than 1.5 million acres of habitat, half the habitat being water.

The park has 5 major boardwalk or nature trails and various visitor centers.
