Ernest Hemingway Home & Museum

Tour the Key West home and gardens of late Nobel Prize winner, Ernest Hemingway and experience the tranquil environment which motivated the author during his most productive years. Owned by Hemingway from 1931 to his death in 1961, the home has been meticulously restored and is open to the public 365 days a year.

Visitors will find a living tribute to Hemingway on the grounds in the descendants of the 50 cats who shared the author's home; Hemingway had a special love for the odd six-toed cats that can still be seen on the premises. Guided tours are offered of this registered National Historic Landmark; open daily.
