Deerfield Beach is a nice size public beach (a mile long and about 50 yards wide)there is a pier there and a non-motorized watercraft concession on the south side of the beach. They have picnic tables, five sand volleyball courts, plenty of restaurants nearby and concessions. This is a great family beach.
The beach is about a mile long and 50 yards wide and a sidewalk runs the length of the beach near the back.
Tikki huts and palm trees provide shade on the beach, and there are several public restrooms and fresh water outdoor showers.
