Crawfordville is located in Wakulla County (of which it is the county seat) just south of Tallahassee along US Highway 319 near Apalachee Bay and the Gulf of Mexico (part of the Tallahassee, Florida metro area). Also situated at the western edge of the Apalachicola National Forest.
